Synology RX1222sas is an expansion unit designed to seamlessly expand the storage capacity of Synology servers. Connecting to the main unit via the included expansion cable, up to 12 additional 3.5″ or 2.5″ SAS/SATA drives can be added, enabling immediate use of the new capacity using the comprehensive management options in Synology DiskStation Manager (DSM).
